Jackson County, IN school closing

Another Indiana school is closing for good because of state budget cuts, the fifth such closing announced in a week.

The school board Tuesday night voted to close Freetown Elementary School in Jackson County.  Residents pleaded with the board during a meeting to keep it open, but school officials say they need to find ways to ease their half-million-dollar budget deficit.
