Louisville, Ky. (Fox 41, WDRB-TV) -- Two men learn their punishment for murdering a Fairdale homeowner.
Donald Giles was sentenced to ten years after pleading guilty to manslaughter, robbery, and burglary. Robert Holt will spend five years behind bars for his involvement in the murder, as well as robbery and burglary.
Police say the two broke into Charles Goodlett's Fairdale home in February 2003 and shot and killed him.
Giles was on the run for three years before U.S. marshals arrested him in Nashville, Tennessee.
