LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB Fox 41) -- Oil up the chains and inflate the tires, the 12th Annual Mayor's Healthy Hometown Hike and Bike is set for Monday. The annual event will bring people from across Kentuckiana to pedal across Louisville's 18-mile course. The event begins at Waterfront Park at 9 a.m. with free giveaways and health information on how to live and eat healthy. The biking starts an hour later at 10. For those who aren't riding, you can walk a three mile route that crosses the Second Street Bridge and back.
If you're not too tired from the Hike and Bike, head over to Southeast Christian Church's Louisville or Southern Indiana locations to enjoy Familypalooza. From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. both locations will offer family fun and fellowship. There'll be plenty of games for children including carnival games, water rides, bubbles, petting zoo and inflatables.
The church's Louisville location is located at Blankenbaker and I-64 and the Indiana campus location is at Charlestown New Albany Road in Jeffersonville.
