BULLITT COUNTY, Ky. (WDRB FOX41) -- Bullitt County detectives say they've eliminated one man as a suspect in the mysterious circumstances surrounding the death of 37-year-old Christy Dickerson.
32-year-old Damon Carta was considered a person of interest in the case, after he was spotted on surveillance video.
Dickerson's family says she made several distressed calls the night she was hit and feared for her life, after meeting two men seen with her earlier that night on surveillance tape at a truck stop.
Dickerson was hit and killed last month by a semi on I-65 in northern Hardin County.
Carta came forward to police and after interviewing him, his is no longer considered a suspect.
