The remaining "American Idol" contestants hit the big screen Tuesday night.  The final seven sang songs from the cinema.

Movie maker Quentin Tarantino was their guest mentor.  The "Pulp Fiction" and "Kill Bill" director is an avid Idol fan making his second appearance on the hit show.

After watching the performances, even he has picked a favorite: "They're some definite standouts. To me Adam Lambert is a standout!"

One contestant gets sent home Wednesday night, unless the judges use their one-time save power.

Miley Cyrus and former Idol contestant Jennifer Hudson take the stage.
