LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) - A 16-year-old has been charged as an adult with four counts of murder for a crash that killed a group of teenagers leaving a community event near downtown Louisville in December. A Jefferson County grand jury charged Herbert Lee the Third on Wednesday.

PADUCAH, Ky. (AP) - Paducah's city commission has voted to eliminate 12 employees as part of a reorganization that could save up to $1.6 million a year. The plan would eventually abolish or leave unfilled 32 positions, nearly a tenth of its work force.

MAYFIELD, Ky. (AP) - Police say a teacher and coach in western Kentucky has been charged with burglary. A camera set up at a southern Graves County home shows 35-year-old James B. Forthman Junior going inside.

FRANKFORT, Ky. (AP) - Lieutenant Governor Daniel Mongiardo has raised $429,552 for next year's U.S. Senate race. Mongiardo filed a report with the Federal Election Commission on Wednesday detailing his contributions since he entered the race in February. Nearly 700 people contributed.
