A man charged in connection to a crash that killed a passenger in his car has agreed to a plea deal. Gabriel Nelson was driving a BMW police say was speeding and crashed, killing Latonia Mitchell.

Under the plea deal, the murder charge was amended to manslaughter -- all other charges remained, including fleeing and evading police and reckless driving.

Nelson will spend twenty years behind bars.  He will not be eligible for parole or shock probation.
