Hey readers,

I know we're just now into the summer movie season, but I'm already thinking ahead. I've got a few horror films that are worth looking at:

I am a diehard fan of the original Halloween and thought the remake was sheer blasphemy. On the other hand, this sequel to said remake does look promising and I'm not sure why. Due out August 28.

I know this one doesn't come out until November 6, but I can't wait for this remake because I'm a sucker for all things werewolf and zombie. This is based off the original 1940's The Wolfman with Lon Chaney Jr. and follows their script pretty closely. The star is Benicio Del Toro (The Usual Suspects) and the make-up is by the masterful Rick Baker who won an oscar for An American Werewolf in London, my favorite werewolf film.

Sam Raimi used to be one heck of a horror master, but he let "our friendly neighborhood Spider-Man" get in the way for the last decade, give or take. Now he has come home! Drag Me to Hell is about an up and coming career woman who has a perfect life until she has to make a tough decision: Let the strange old lady stay in her house despite her lateness on the mortgage or kick her to the curb. What happens next looks to be great fun at the theater. This movie screams "Watch me at the drive-in!" Due May 29.

What, if anything, are you looking out for this year or even in the future? Hit me up readers, let's hear from you!
