The digital switch has come and gone, but old television are still hanging around.  That is why Louisville Metro's CyberCycle program is now offering free recycling.  Old TV's and other electronics may be dropped off at the Waste Reduction Center on Meriwether Avenue.  City officials say recycling old electronics keeps toxic materials out of landfills.  The drop off center on Meriwether Avenue is open from 8am to 6pm Tuesday through Friday and 8am to 3pm on Saturday.

Acceptable CyberCycle Items:

Computers, Scanners, Printers, Monitors, Tape and Disk Drives, Electronic Game Systems, VCRs, CD Players,Digital Cameras, Copiers, Cell Phones, CDs and Floppy Disks.
