EMT worker indicted after falsifying stabbing

A grand jury has indicted the former EMT who claimed he was stabbed outside his ambulance in Middletown.

Twenty-four-year-old Joshua Ware now is accused of making up the story that someone stabbed him as he was preparing for duty.

The incident happened May 28th.

Police blocked streets to insure Ware had a clear path to University Hospital for treatment.

A grand jury indicted Ware on charges of tampering with evidence, committing insurance fraud, and falsely reporting an incident.

Ware resigned from Louisville Metro EMS on June 12th.
