Police fatally shoot man after reported domestic dispute
An officer-involved shooting leaves one man dead following a domestic dispute.
Police were called to 2911 South Crums Lane in south Louisville just after 1 am Tuesday.
Officers from Shively and LMPD responded to a call of a domestic dispute.
There a man, believed to be in his 40s, was standing in front of the home waving a gun.
After ordering the man to drop his gun, police say he charged toward them.
That's when several officers fired shots, killing the suspect.
LMPD Chief Robert White says only Metro officers fired shots, but its unclear at this point of how many shots were fired.
No officers were injured and no one at the home suffered injuries besides the suspect.
The LMPD public integrity unit is now investigating.
