2 charged after remains found in eastern Ky.

A man and his girlfriend have been charged with two murders after a woman's body was found off an eastern Kentucky highway and a second set of remains turned up in a freezer.

Kentucky State Police on Friday arrested 27-year-old Leonard D. Henry, and his girlfriend, 21-year-old Opal M. Ashcraft. State Police Sgt. Matt Feltner told the Lexington Herald-Leader the two are charged with the murders of Henry's mother, 66-year-old Katherine B. Henry, and another of her sons, 41-year-old and Paul E. Richardson.

Feltner says all four lived together in Irvine.

Katherine Henry's body was found wrapped in a sleeping bag in a shed off Ky. 587 in Lee County on Wednesday.

When state police searched Henry's home Friday night, they said they found Richardson's remains in a freezer. Police say he apparently died of a gunshot wound to the head.
