New charges are filed against the woman accused of trying to extort money from U of L basketball coach Rick Pitino.  A grand jury indicted Karen Sypher for allegedly making false claims to police.

The indictment says Sypher made demands to Pitino twice, with the threat that his reputation would be damaged if those demands weren't met.  Another charge claims she lied to the FBI about her alleged sexual relationship with Lester Get-zinger Goetzinger, the man who admitted making threatening calls to Pitino.

The other new charge claims she acted in retaliation when she filed a police report over the summer saying Pitino raped her.

Sypher's attorney says the new charges don't change the case.  She will be arraigned on December 22nd.
