Hornung Award

One of the state's top high school football players was in Louisville today to accept the Paul Hornung Award.

Highlands star tailback Austin Collinsworth is this year's winner. The tailback--and son of former Cincinnati Bengal Chris Collinsworth---rushed for more than 15-hundred yards and 23 touchdowns. Highlands won the 5-A Championship over John Hardin. He did all this despite missing four games with a broken thumb.

Fort Campbell quarterback Antonio Andrews is the AP's pick as the top high school player in the state.

Andrews accounted for more than 32-hundred yards of offense and 57 touchdowns. His Falcons defeated Desales in the 2-A Championship Game.
