One of the state's top high school football players was in Louisville today to accept the Paul Hornung Award.
Highlands star tailback Austin Collinsworth is this year's winner. The tailback--and son of former Cincinnati Bengal Chris Collinsworth---rushed for more than 15-hundred yards and 23 touchdowns. Highlands won the 5-A Championship over John Hardin. He did all this despite missing four games with a broken thumb.
Fort Campbell quarterback Antonio Andrews is the AP's pick as the top high school player in the state.
Andrews accounted for more than 32-hundred yards of offense and 57 touchdowns. His Falcons defeated Desales in the 2-A Championship Game.
