Connie Marshall - WDRB 41 Louisville News

Connie Marshall

Connie Marshall is a unique Louisville mayoral candidate who has vastly different motivations from her colleagues. She says she's been the victim of an elaborate government conspiracy -- and she wants to become mayor so she can see to it that it doesn't happen to anyone else.

It all began in 2004 when Marshall says she was blacklisted by the government. How she got put on the list is unclear, but once you're on it, Marshall says, "all the money in the world won't save you."

"Once you get on this so-called list with these corrupt officials, then they start intercepting mail, intercepting e-mail, intercepting phone calls, destroying property, destroying jobs," Marshall told Fox 41's Bennett Haeberle. "This is what they do."

Marshall said the blacklisting meant that she would be subjected to several years of illegal surveillance, mind control, gang-stalking and "electromagnetic assaults" (i.e. instances in which microwave and electromagnetic technology is used to scramble her thought patterns while she is on the phone.)

Marshall stopped her interview with Haeberle at one point to remove the batteries from her cell phone.

"I'm tracked on my phone," she said.

She said she wants to be mayor so she can end what she views as a cycle of corruption in Metro Louisville.

"I know that every office here has been covering up for every office," she said. "That's why I have so many lawsuits in Federal court."
