April is Animal Cruelty Prevention Month. To get the message out, the Shamrock Foundation is out with a new PSA featuring Richie Dunn and his adopted dog, Aiden. He made the black lab a part of his family after learning Aiden had been used as target practice for someone with a bow and arrow.

To honor Aiden, Shamrock created a new "Arrow Fund," which pays for the care of abused animals. Mary Casey from the Shamrock Foundation brought along Peek-A-Boo, a dog that benefited from the fun. Peek-A-Boo was shot twice with a 22-calibre gun. She's a year old now, recovering nicely, has been spayed and is looking for a home. For more information, go to www.shamrockpets.com or call 585-3220.
