MAMMOTH

Mammoth, the World’s Longest Water Coaster, uses HydroMagnetic technology to propel six- and eight-person boats up a series of hills utilizing linear induction motors (LIMs). The water coaster begins with a 300-foot conveyor ride “lifthill,” followed by a series of drops including a three-story drop at a 45-degree angle. The drenching ride includes a total of seven drops, adding up to 187 feet of total “drop.” Mammoth’s length is the greatest of any water coaster in the world: 1,763 feet, a third of a mile.

Located in Splashin' Safari, Mammoth begins with a conveyor ride up the water coaster’s lifthill. Including a 32-foot drop at a 45-degree angle plus six additional drops, linear induction motors (LIMs) propel the six-person round boats up six hills, through five enclosed sections, and around twists and turns.

Mammoth’s length is 1,763 feet (a third of a mile), making it the World’s Longest Water Coaster. (The park’s Wildebeest water coaster falls to the #2 position.)

THE VOYAGE Roller Coaster

The Voyage is Holiday World's third wooden roller coaster. Located in the Thanksgiving section, it is 1.2 miles long and provides a record 24.2 seconds of "air time." This steel-structure wooden coaster takes a twist on the standard out-and-back layout, adding a terrain-coaster adventure in the "back" half of the ride. The Voyage has been named the #1 Wooden Coaster on the Planet by Amusement Today every year since 2007.

The Voyage includes a record five underground tunnels (some are double, creating eight "underground moments"), a series of dramatic drops (including a 66-degree angle of descent on the first drop), three 90-degree banked turns, and multiple track crossovers. The Voyage includes extreme air-time, extreme banking, and extreme speed.
