Ford sales up 25 percent in April
The Ford Motor Company is reporting that its national sales numbers jumped 25 percent in April.
Ford's Cincinnati region, which also includes Louisville-area dealers, had a "very strong" performance, according to a news release. That performance was characterized by 32.7 percent increase in overall regional sales.
Sales of the redesigned Taurus were also up 242 percent year-over-year and had the best month since June 2007, according to the release.
The Edge was up 67 percent year-over-year, the Fusion was up 20 percent, the Focus was up 64 percent, the Escape was up 42 percent and the F-Series was up 64 percent.
