The trial of a woman charged with trying to extort $10 million from University of Louisville basketball coach Rick Pitino has been delayed until July.

U.S. District Judge Charles R. Simpson III issued the order on Tuesday, bumping proceedings from June 1, after both defense attorneys and prosecutors agreed to the delay.

Sypher is accused of trying to extort money from Pitino and lying to the FBI.

Sypher's lawyers asked that her trial be delayed while they reviewed the evidence in the case.

Simpson said a pending request to move the trial out of Louisville would not be affected by the postponement.
