Louisville, KY (WDRB-TV, Fox 41) -- Five Western Kentucky University students are riding their bikes across the country to help those with Alzheimer's.

The group calls itself Fijis Across America and includes Chaz Vittitow from Louisville and Justin Cave from Glendale.

The bikers started their seven-week, 3200-mile bike trek Tuesday morning in Oceanside, California.  They're hoping to raise $75,000 for the Greater Kentucky - Southern Indiana Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association.

They're expected to ride into Kentucky during the first week of July.
