Four new retailers open at Jefferson Mall

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB Fox 41) -- Four new stores have opened their doors at Louisville's Jefferson Mall.

Rue 21, Jimmy Jazz, Spencer Gifts and Tatu Jefferson Mall are the mall's latest tenants, according to a news release.

Tatu is one of only seven tattoo parlors located inside a shopping mall in the U.S. The parlor offers temporary tattoos, as well as permanent ones. It is locally owned and operated by Jason and Jeremy Cantwell, formerly of Derby City Customs Motorcycles and stars of the CW reality show "Ride Real."

Jimmy Jazz is a clothing store that features lifestyle brands including Rocawear, Akademiks, Baby Phat, Coogi, Adidas Originals, Creative Recreation and Nike.

Spencer's offers a plethora of entertainment and gag gifts, including humorous and irreverent items like Whoopie Cushions and lava lamps.

Rue21, a clothing store, offers apparel for people of all ages.

"We are constantly looking for new stores to enhance the retailer line up here at Jefferson Mall," said Greg Barnes, general manager of Jefferson Mall. "We listen to our shoppers and try to respond to their needs and requests as much as possible. We are thrilled to offer these stores, some of whom are new to the Louisville market altogether."
