Police: Ind. pizza driver death not tied to job

GARY, Ind. (AP) -- Northwestern Indiana police say the fatal shooting of a pizza delivery man whose body was found dumped in the trunk of his car wasn't related to his job or a robbery he reported hours earlier.

Authorities said Friday that 29-year-old Latuan Wiggins was fatally shot at a home where he was trying to buy marijuana. Four people have been charged, including one with murder.

Lake County police found Wiggins' body early Tuesday, just hours after the Gary man reported a robbery and theft of his Taurus as he was trying to deliver a pizza.

He told police that five to six people ran at him and he dropped the pizza and ran, still holding this car keys. Officers found the car near the home and returned it to Wiggins.
