Delta plane makes emergency landing
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB Fox 41) -- A Delta Air Lines plane carrying 149 passengers and crew made an emergency landing at Standiford Field. Trish Burke, with the Louisville International Airport told Fox 41, flight 1620 originated from Minneapolis, Minnesota and was en route to Atlanta, Georgia, when it was forced to land due to smoke in the cabin. The emergency was reported around 8:40 p.m. and the plane landed in Louisville at 8:56 p.m. There are no reports of injuries and a Delta representative says they are working to place the passengers on another flight.
