LMPD bust working meth lab

LOUISVILLE, KY (WDRB) -- Two people are back behind bars after metro police bust alleged repeat Meth offenders.

Narcotics officers were working off a tip and arrested 42 year-old Michael Coons and 24-year-old Amber Baker for allegedly operating a Meth lab in the South End.

Police say the two were allegedly operating the lab in a temporary tattoo studio in Coons' home near McNeely Lake on Red Spruce Drive.

Police say Coons has been busted for Meth at least three times this year, and Baker was arrested weeks ago for possession of Methamphetamine.

Detectives say Coons was out on bond awaiting trial.
