LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB Fox 41) -- One person is dead after a concrete truck smashes into a car in Spencer County, near Taylorsville, Kentucky. Police say 21-year-old Samual Wantye was struck while trying to make a left turn off Elk Creek Road and turned into the path of the concrete truck. The car was pushed into a rock wall.
Trooper Hunter Martin with the Kentucky State Police explains, "There's probably a bit of a visibility issue at this intersection. With the vehicle turning off of Elk Creek, we're going to look into that to determine if that played a factor or not."
