Clark County raid nets drugs, weapons, cash

LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB Fox 41) -- The Clark County Sheriff's Office raided a Clarksville man's home Monday after they say an investigation found that he was selling drugs.

Detectives had been monitoring Richard Aaron Fried's home, leading to a search warrant being issued.  The Clark County Sheriff's Office Special Operations Unit performed the raid because the investigation showed that Fried often carried a weapon.

Investigators say they found about ten pounds of marijuana, three handguns, ammunition for an assault rifle, several baggies of pain medication, a list of those buying from Fried, and cash.

Officers say they also found several counterfeit $20 bills.
