LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB Fox 41) -- The University of Louisville football team is headed to a bowl game for the first time since 2006.
But the big story with the program today, is its head coach's comments this afternoon.
Charlie Strong is widely considered to be one of the best new college head football coaches in the nation, so when openings arose at both the University of Miami and the University of Florida -- where Strong spent eight years as an assistant -- it's not surprising that his name emerged as a candidate.
But today, Strong met with the media and said he never even considered leaving, and that he's committed to finishing the job he started at U of L.
