LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB Fox 41) -- Louisville's next mayor is finishing up making personnel changes before taking office next month. Along with keeping Metro Police Chief Robert White, Greg Fischer will also retain directors for the Louisville Zoo and Parking Authority of River City.

A national search is underway for new directors of the Department of Public Health and Wellness and Metro Animal Services. Fischer's transition teams is completely a review of the city's Economic Development Department before naming a new leader.

Public Works will undergo an extensive review and performance audit, to ensure its efficiency and effectiveness. Fischer will be take office January 3rd.
