Louisville heating assistance program starts Jan. 4

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB Fox 41) -- Help is coming for those who need assistance keeping the heat on this winter.

Louisville Metro Community Action Partnership's LIHEAP crisis program starts Tuesday, Jan. 4.

It gives financial help to eligible low-income residents who are having trouble paying their utility bills.

Residents who want to apply, have make an appointment in person next Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday.

The office on Barret Avenue will open at 7 a.m. on those days and be open until 4 p.m.
