LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB Fox 41) -- Police say an intoxicated woman smashed her vehicle through the front door of a local tattoo shop, then went on a rampage in a graveyard, driving over two gravestones.
According to an arrest report obtained by Fox 41 News, 50-year-old Marie E. Reeves drove her car through the wall of a tattoo parlor in the 1400 block of S. Shelby St. early Tuesday morning.
Police say that, after smashing through the wall, she then drove away, inexplicably leaving her ID behind. Witnesses saw the incident and were able to retrieve the ID.
A short time later, Reeves allegedly continued her rampage by driving to a graveyard at the corner of Preston St. and Rawlings St. and knocking over the tombstones.
At this point, police say Reeves decided to hail a taxi to drive her from the graveyard to the Hotel Louisville in the 100 block of W. Broadway. That's where, police say, they caught up with her and placed her under arrest.
She was charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, leaving the scene of an accident and criminal mischief.
