LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB Fox 41) -- The man who stands accused of murdering an 18-year-old Sullivan University student was the topic of a court hearing this morning. Attorneys are arguing over Gregory O'Bryan's medical records.
His defense team believes they should have access to the records to establish that O'Bryan has a history of mental problems.
O'Bryan told police he dumped 18-year-old Andrew Compton's body in a dumpster near Our Lady of Peace.
The Sullivan student disappeared in October -- and O'Bryan admitted Compton died while they were together.
O'Bryan is charged with murder, sodomy, abuse of a corpse and tampering with evidence.
