LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB Fox 41) -- Louisville Firefighters had to evacuate a warehouse this morning because the building was in danger of collapsing.

The Quality Tire warehouse on Midway Avenue near 26th Street caught fire shortly after 7:00 a.m. The building is filled with industrial tires and equipment.

Firefighters were inside fighting the flames when they quickly had to get out.

"At one point, because of the worry of collapse, we had to get our crews back outside so we wouldn't suffer any injuries," said Captain Sal Melendez, a spokesperson for the fire department.

No one was hurt. Strong winds were also a concern as the fire spread.

Arson investigators are still trying to determine how the fire started.
