Officials say they are considering scrapping plan to stagger tolls, aim for full tolling in fall 2016.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB Fox 41) -- Karen Sypher has arrived at a prison in Marianna, Fla. She checked in shortly after 1:50 EST Wednesday afternoon.
While there, she'll have to abide by plenty of rules:
She has to be up at 6 a.m. to clean her cell. She can't have makeup, and she can only have visitors three days a week.
James Faller, a member of Sypher's legal team, spoke to Bennett Haeberle about her state of mind as she prepared to serve her seven-year, three-month sentence.
"How is she handling the idea of going to prison? Well the question is how would you handle it? It's not something that she's happy about," Faller said.
Sypher was convicted of lying to the FBI and extortion, after trying to get millions of dollars from U of L basketball coach Rick Pitino to stay quiet about their sexual encounter in 2003.
