SLIDESHOW: The state of the Waterfront...

LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB Fox 41) -- It's a sure sign that Thunder Over Louisville is about to happen -- the Second Street Bridge is closed through Sunday.

But the rising Ohio River is taking some of the best seats for the big show.  You can't park at Cox Park because of flooding, and the boat ramps there and at Riverview Park will also be closed because of dangerously high water.

You can also go to Thurman Hutchins Park and walk to areas nearby to view the fireworks and air show.

The upper section of Eva Bandman Park will still be available for RV parking that was previously registered.  But tent camping and "day-of" parking will go to Champions Park Corridor at Frankfort Avenue and River Road.  RV parking is available starting Friday for $200.

Campers bringing tents may stay on Friday and Saturday nights for $50. This includes space for one car, not necessarily next to your tent. Additional cars are $15 each. On Saturday, April 17, parking spots at Champions Park Corridor will be available as long as space permits, at a cost of $20 per vehicle.
