JUNCTION CITY, Ky. (AP) -- Two teens and a 64-year-old woman have been killed in a Junction City, Ky., car crash.

The trio died at the scene of the accident on Saturday after their Mercury Cougar collided with a Jeep, crashed through a fence and slammed into a hill.

Lt. James Harris of the Boyle County Fire Department told WLEX-TV said Saturday's slick conditions may have contributed to the accident. The two people in the Jeep were not injured but taken to the hospital as a precaution.

Neither the 15- and 17-year-old victims nor the 64-year-old were identified.

Nearby residents rushed to the scene of the accident but were too late to offer help. Two of the victims had already died and the third passed away shortly after they arrived.
