LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB Fox 41) -- The storms rocking a huge portion of the US are delivering a setback for UPS.
Leaders at the air hub in Louisville say there have been delays in shipments as flights are being kept on the ground for safety reasons.
The shipping giant says the company is using several contingency plans.
Those include shifting package processing volume around to get things back on track as soon as weather allows safe deliveries.
UPS won't say how many packages and flights have been delayed or rerouted.
