LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB Fox 41) -- Police have arrested a man who was allegedly selling a library of counterfeit movies -- some of which hadn't been released on DVD yet.

According to an arrest report, 29-year-old Jarian Laird was found in a parking lot at the corner of 26th and Broadway passing out fliers. The fliers allegedly consisted of his phone number and a list of DVDs and CDs that he was selling.

Police also found 68 DVDs in his possession, as well as 50 CDs. The value of the stash exceeded $1,000, according to an arrest report.

Police say Laird, "admitted that he had movies that are not even out on DVID [and are] still in movie theaters."

He was charged with engaging in prohibited commerce of counterfeit goods.
