LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) - Louisville will prepare to enter the Atlantic Coast Conference with a non-conference schedule featuring Final Four participant Cal and in-state rivals Kentucky and Western Kentucky. The Cardinals will face seven 20-win teams among 11 postseason participants last spring.

CINCINNATI (AP) - Cornerback Leon Hall was cleared to join the Bengals' first practice of training camp on Thursday, an encouraging sign for one of the NFL's top defenses. Hall tore his right Achilles tendon midway through last season, the second time he's sustained such an injury.

DEL MAR, Calif. (AP) - Bench Light won Del Mar's $94,882 feature race Thursday, beating Money Clip by 6 1/4 lengths on the infield Jimmy Durante grass course. SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. (AP) - Pure Sensation overcame a tough trip to nail Choctaw Chuck at the wire Thursday and win the $100,000 Quick Call by a nose at Saratoga Race Course. A 3-year-old son of Zensational and trained by Christophe Clement, Pure Sensation ran 5 ½ furlongs in 1:01.82 on the main turf course and returned $9.30, $5.80 and $3.90.
