LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Did a missing IU student die of a drug overdose? Police aren't ruling it out.

Officers, family, and volunteers are in their 10th day of searching for 20-year-old Lauren Spierer.

On Monday, detectives said they are looking into reports that she overdosed on drugs, and the people with her got rid of her body -- but they stress that's just one of several possibilities.

In fact, detectives are trying to identify a driver seen in security video from the day she disappeared. And the list of people they're interviewing is growing, according to Captain Joe Qualters of the Bloomington Police Department, who says it includes, "friends associates and that type of thing in an effort to find out more info about Lauren or any other folks that may be of interest to us."

Besides the hundreds of volunteers searching for Lauren, a national search expert just arrived in Bloomington.
