Louisville, Ky. (WDRB) -- One person is dead after a Saturday afternoon collision on Dixie Highway near Valley Station Road. It happened around 2 p.m.
Early investigation information reveals that a red F-250 pickup truck was traveling south on Dixie when the driver crossed the center line and struck a silver Dodge Intrepid that was traveling northbound.
There were two people in the truck and three people in the Dodge. All were taken to University Hospital. The rear passenger of the Dodge received fatal injuries and died at University Hospital.
Police say the other victims appear to have non-life threatening injuries. Authorities have not ruled out alcohol or drugs as a factor in the accident.
