Sunday afternoon, the Houston Texans' Amobi Okoye, who was a first round pick out of Louisville in 2007, hosted his annual youth football camp, teaching young players everything from the basics of the game, to life lessons off the field.
The former U of L defensive lineman took a very hands-on approach to coaching, and talked to Pat Doney about why he loves working with kids so much.
"I try to promote education through athletics," Okoye said. "Every child wants to be an athlete... so you just have to get to them and let them know that's great, but at the same time, don't forget about education."
