LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) -- The Better Business Bureau says scammers are trying to take advantage of KFC customers.

An email going around has the fast food giant's logo and copyright and asks consumers to complete a survey in return for a $100 gift card.  It also asks for a home address and phone numbers.

One person who was contacted said she completed a long survey on KFC on other companies in which she submitted her email address, home address, and phone numbers.  She said the next day four or five telemarketers began contacting her about the survey.

Another person said the survey came from  That address is not connected with KFC.

KFC has received several other complaints about the alleged scam.  Louisville-based Yum Brands says it's not a KFC-sponsored survey and it is investigating to see who is behind it.
