LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The state of Indiana has released a graphic new public service announcement aimed at preventing drowning deaths of young children.

This 30-second PSA is titled "In the Pool" and has been sent to each TV station in Indiana.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, drowning is the leading cause of injury and death for young children ages one-to-four.

On average, three children drown every day.

In Kentuckiana, five children have drowned this year.
