LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) -- A group of Louisville Metro Police employees say they were exposed to toxic mold in a city office building.

Now they are suing the public works department and the public housing authority.

The suit asks a judge to force the city to fix the building's problems, and to provide compensatory and punitive damages and a jury trial.

The executive director of the housing authority says police employees were moved out of the building about a year ago so crews could repair cooling units, replace carpet, and deal with mold issues.
