Indiana deciding on state fair stage collapse claims

Posted: Updated:

LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) -- The state of Indiana is trying to determine who gets what in the $5 million Indiana State Fair stage collapse claims process.

Indiana Attorney General Greg Zoeller says the money will likely be limited to families of those who died and those who were hurt.

Zoeller is getting advice from a specialist who oversaw victims' funds after the 9/11 attacks, the BP oil spill, and the Virginia Tech shootings.

Seven people died and many others were hurt when winds sent the stage crashing down last month.
