Kentucky and Indiana jobless rates show little change

LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) -- The employment picture is not improving in Kentucky or Indiana.

New numbers show that Kentucky's jobless rate didn't change from July to August and stands at 9.5%.

But the number of jobless Indiana residents inched higher, rising from 8.5% to 8.7%.

That's still lower than the national unemployment rate of 9.1%.
