LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- It's the world's largest privately owned collection of Coca-Cola memorabilia, and this weekend it's all up for grabs in an auction.

After more than 40 years in operation, the Schmidt family decided to close its museum in Elizabethtown in April.

The collection includes signs, posters, lamps and even the star of the auction... the first can of Coke that was produced in 1955.

Larry Schmidt told us he expects bidders from around the world, including Italy and Japan.

The auction continues Sunday on Buffalo Creek Drive in Elizabethtown.
