LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Louisville woman has been arrested after authorities say she stole money intended for sick and disabled children.

It happened on Sept. 23, according to an arrest warrant. Police say 23-year-old Stephanie Taylor walked into four different Qdoba Mexican Grill restaurants and took jars containing donations for Kosair Children's Hospital.

The total amount of money taken during the alleged thefts can't be determined, but it is estimated to be under $500.

Police say Taylor, "knew these funds were intended to be donated to the non-profit agency, yet [she] took the entire jar and kept the monies for her own use."

Taylor was identified and apprehended through the use of surveillance video and eyewitnesses, according to the arrest warrant. She was arrested Friday afternoon and charged with four counts of theft.
