LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Police say a woman in charge of helping an elderly woman helped herself to her credit cards instead.

According to the arrest report, 41-year-old Shanequa Jordan was a live-in caregiver for the 75-year-old victim and took advantage of his declining health "for her own personal gain."

Police say Jordan stole several credit cards and used them to make purchases at local  businesses. She's also accused of using the victim's personal information to apply for credit without his permission.

Jordan was arrested Thursday afternoon near Brownsboro Road and North Birchwood Avenue. She's charged with exploiting an adult, identity theft and fraudulent use of a credit card.
