Arrest made in the murders of five in Franklin County, Ind.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Indiana State Police signed formal charges against David E. Ison for the alleged murders of five people in Franklin County, Indiana on Friday. He was charged with five counts of murder in the Franklin County Circuit Court.
David Ison remains in the Ripley County Jail on attempted armed robbery charges. During his arrest on September 28th, for the attempted armed robbery, Indiana State Police Post at Versailles got information that possibly associated Ison to the five victims on Stipps Hill Road in Franklin County. Based on the results of the arrest, search warrants and the continued investigation, Indiana State Police Detectives presented the Franklin County Prosecutor with a case that resulted in the charges of murder against Ison. The murders took place on Stipps Hill Road in Franklin County on Sunday, September 25th.
